This seems to be a kind of false metaphor, the same kind that gets us to 1 as a limit through an infinite series. For one, we only get nothing when we lose the All, because then the All forms the background upon which difference can be found. It relies on a backwards kind of thinking. that we are somehow socially valid by a God who recognizes and validates that social point of view. and thus, guaranteed that the world was one another us and that we have a place in it, that we aren't an accident.
